How do I make an appointment?

For immediate contact it is best to call the salon on (02)9569 2664.  We do accept enquiries through email and our Hair Den social media pages.

Do you offer hair consultations?

Yes, we do offer free consultations for Colour and Extensions and actually highly recommend it for any new clients. Bring along any inspirational photos of your hair goals, even bring pictures of colours you don’t like so the stylist can have a clear understanding of your needs.

Is a deposit required to make a booking?

Only for any extensive colour or extension bookings a 20% deposit is required.

Where can I park?

We are located at 295 Marrickville Road Marrickville. There is 2 hour free parking on Malakoff Street or further down all day parking on one side of the road for those longer bookings. On Petersham Road there is also all day parking.

How many sessions will it take to achieve my desired colour?

After a thorough consultation the Stylist will advise what is achievable and in what time frame. Each client’s hair lifts differently to colour and hair health and integrity is of utmost importance to. If you have coloured your hair recently (in particular home box dyes) then we may need to cleanse your hair first to remove as much build up as we can. Alternatively if your hair is damaged then we may need to do 2 or 3 sessions of colour to maintain the integrity of your hair to prevent breakage.

How do I use my take home toner – Fabuloso Pro?

Shampoo your hair twice. Once washed, remove as much water from your hair as you can, apply Fabuloso Pro as you would use your normal conditioner and leave in your hair for 3-5 minutes and rinse. If you feel you didn’t achieve the desired tone, leave it on longer next time. Or alternatively, if you feel it toned it too much, mix the Fabuloso Pro with your regular conditioner.

Do you do extensions and how much do they cost?

We use and recommend Seamless1 Hair Extensions with a wide range of options available to you. Please contact the salon directly to arrange a free of charge, no obligations consultation with one of our Extension Specialists.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We understand that you may need to reschedule your booking and all situations are unique although we greatly appreciate as much notice in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.

What if I am not 100% happy with my colour or cut?

We pride ourselves in our personalised consultation. However, we want you to be 100% happy with your hair. Please contact the salon directly via phone within 10 days of your appointment and we will get you in to the salon immediately to identify the problem and adjust accordingly. In this event no charges will be applied however if you wish to have a blow-dry and style there may be a fee.

Salon Etiquette

1. You will receive a text SMS reminder which will be sent up to 3-5 days prior to your scheduled booking. You must CONFIRM all bookings via our text message reminder system. All bookings not confirmed could result in your booking being cancelled.

 

2. We understand that you may need to reschedule your booking and all situations are unique although we greatly appreciate as much notice in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.

 

3. Arrive on time. This just ensures that your Stylist will have the allocated time to deliver the full requested services.
